SOPHIE b.VISUAl Ar t i s t

Sophie Brussaux is an engaged, award-winning and published artist who combines her fascination for cultural & social paradigms with a love of colorful pop-art & symbolism.

Sophie is also the founder and artistic director of ArtsHelp, a not-for-profit organization that provides a publishing platform for artists of all arts globally, who are making a difference through their craft. It's the largest creative community - 2.5 million to this date.

As an activist and a feminist, sophie hopes to help the achievement of the 17 sustainable development goals through art.

From her studio in Bordeaux, France, she has become renowned for her vivid use of acrylics, oils, spray paints, palette knife, and traditional painting styles to create arresting and provocative pieces. She has exhibited in formal and informal places ranging from art-loving nightclubs to museums in cities like NYC, Dubai, Toronto, London, Milan, Paris, and more.

During her latest solo exhibition “Icons With A Purpose” in partnership with the United Nations Habitat at Canadian museum Design Exchange, Sophie’s engaged vision reminded us it be crucial we work together in order to develop a happy, healthy, sustainable future for everybody on this planet.

In her 30 years traveling the world, Sophie has been exposed to a culturally rich and diverse set of experiences.
From her studies in international affairs to her successful former modeling career, Brussaux has gained a truly unique perspective on many real world issues and ideologies.

Published globally in digital press and books, her work calls for a change of current world narratives.
Her art fuses cultural iconography, biblical & Sci-Fi fixtures with ideas that span the daring emancipation of female sexuality, AI in dystopian possible futures, and lapsed spirituality.
